You are receiving this notice because we have updated Jolt’s Terms of Use and Privacy Policy, which apply to one or more Jolt products or services you use. We’re making these updates to clarify our terms and ensure that they remain transparent for you, as well as to cover new Jolt products, services and features.

The Terms of Use and Privacy Policy are agreements between you and Jolt (or one of its affiliates) that govern your use of Jolt’s online products and services. The updates to the Jolt Terms of Use and Privacy Policy were made on August 19, 20‍19 and May 29, 2019 respectively and will take effect on October 15, 2019. For Subscribers that signed up or modified Jolt’s products or services after August 19, 2019 these changes are already in effect. For Subscribers that signed up or modified their subscriptions prior to August 19, 2019 if you continue to use our products and services on or after October 15, 20‍19, you are agreeing to the updated Terms of Use and Privacy Policy. 

Due to recent tax law changes in most states, we have started gathering sales tax on your behalf in any state where we have an obligation to do so. If you see a change in your recurring amounts from Jolt, it is most likely because we are collecting and remitting sales taxes on your behalf. It is important that you verify your address for each location in Jolt to ensure correct determination of sales tax obligation.

You can learn more about these sales tax updates and others by reviewing a summary of the most notable changes below. If you do not agree, you can choose to close your Jolt account before these terms become effective to your account.

Summary of most notable changes: 

For the Terms of Use and For the Privacy Policy: 

We have changed our name from Intuiplan, LLC to Jolt Software, Inc. to reflect an update in the name Jolt’s software, products, and services are incorporated under. 

For the Terms of Use: 

We have added language about the types of data that Subscribers may enter into JMPS to ensure HIPPA, HITECH, GDPR, and other data privacy compliance regulations. 

We have added clarifying language regarding Jolt’s and our Subscribers obligations to comply with applicable laws within the jurisdiction of the Subscriber including the payment of sales, value added, and or use taxes.

We have added clarifying language regarding the Term and Termination of the subscription plans that are selected within JMPS. How these plans are canceled, how they are renewed, and the length of these plans effective terms.
